Eagle Poise

Eagle Poise is a Grade 3 stakes winner on the flat. The 11 year old Juddmonte Farm-bred son of Empire Maker retired from racing in 2014 and is honing new skills in the Virginia countryside. Quiet and intelligent, Eagle Poise is learning flat work, is a natural jumper and could become a show horse – maybe with a former champion steeplechase jockey in the tack...

Apse, a 2009 son of Arch, won a $65,000 allowance at Saratoga in 2013 for trainer Richard Valentine and jockey Robbie Walsh. Originally campaigned by Mark Hennig, Apse finished just behind graded stakeswinners Dullahan, Two Months Rent and Silver Max on the flat.

This laid back, beautiful, free-moving gelding is learning new skills on the farm in Middleburg, Va and shows great potential for the show ring.
