That’s how Bernie Dalton described Cool Jet to trainer Jack Fisher moments after winning the Grade 1 Commonwealth Cup at the Virginia Gold Cup Saturday. An old man on an old horse doing young things.
I wrote about Dalton way back in 2013 when he won the Grade 1 New York Turf Writers Cup at Saratoga.
He’s still going strong.
