For all you Reds fans out there…
Riverdee purchased the son of Divisidero this summer. With three seconds and four thirds in 11 starts on the turf and synthetic, the 4-year-old looks like a perfect candidate for a hurdle career. His Beyers Speed Figures range from 66 to 79, he was bred by one of the all-time great breeders Brereton Jones and he was trained by consummate horsemen Christophe and Miguel Clement. The bay gelding sports a second and three thirds when stretched out to 1 5/16 miles on the turf.
In his Riverdee debut, De La Cruz cruised to a maiden win at Fair Hill for Grade 1-winning trainer Julie Gomena and three-time champion jockey Graham Watters. By design, we put him away and aimed at steeplechasing 2026.
