This is our kind of horse. The 3-year-old gelding joined Riverdee in September after a flat career with Graham Motion. The son of top stallion Constitution won his debut on the dirt in 2023 and picked up checks in stakes and allowance company after that.
Looking for a new career and a new opportunity, he found it with us. The 3-year-old joined longtime Jack Fisher assistant Sandra Webb at Fair Hill Training Center and was popping logs on his first morning there.
Nice horse with a lot of upside. And he’s beautiful. How beautiful? He fetched $165,000 as a yearling and $625,000 as a 2-year-old. We didn’t pay that much!
American War Hero learned about the steeplechase game with a fifth in the flat race at the Colonial Cup in November and will run over hurdles in the spring.
