Purchased for £28,000 at Tattersalls Ireland Ascot Sales in November, 2017, the Irish-bred won three hurdle features, including the $100,000 Queen’s Cup Stakes and Grade 2 Zeke Furguson at the International Gold Cup. He earned checks in 16 of 17 starts, including a second in the Grade 1 New York Turf Writer’s Cup at Saratoga, for Riverdee. We retired the overachieving earner of $268,300 in 2021. Gibralfaro is another Riverdee graduate enjoying a new endeavor in the fox hunting field in Virginia.
