A new recruit for the 2025 season, the New York-bred owns a second, a third and two fourths in just four starts on the New York circuit. The son of Hard Spun (Snap Decision, et al) missed by 1 1/4 lengths at Saratoga in August and has his sights on that venue in the spring and summer.
Training at the bucolic Whitewood Farm in The Plains, Va., the 4-year-old got back to work in December and made a couple of local starts in Virginia. Koru broke his maiden at Laurel Park.
