Riverdee purchased the 3-year-old filly in March. The French-bred daughter of Shalaa has made just four starts on the flat for Graham Motion. She finished second twice, including a strong effort in a maiden special weight at Laurel going 1 1/8 miles on the turf in November. She showed that day that she can handle the distance.
We are freshening her up with Laird George on the bucolic Whitewood Farm in The Plains, Va. We aim to have her back on the turf this spring/summer, aiming at three turns, and we’ll think about jumping down the road. She’s just 3!
