Riverdee purchased the 3-year-old filly in March 2023. The French-bred daughter of Shalaa made four starts for Graham Motion. She finished second twice, including a strong effort in a maiden special weight at Laurel going 1 1/8 miles on the turf as a 2-year-old. She showed that day that she can handle the distance.
We freshened her up with Laird George on the bucolic Whitewood Farm in The Plains, Va. and sent her to Danielle Hodsdon at Fair Hill Training Center. She finished second going 1 1/2 miles on turf at Delaware Park and second twice going 1 1/4 miles on Tapeta at Turfway Park. We’ll think about jumping down the road. She’s just 4!
