Rocket One

What an addition to the team in 2023. The son of Into Mischief cost $600,000 as a yearling (he cost us significantly less), won on the turf at Kentucky Downs in 2021 and was beaten 4 ½ lengths in the Grade 2 Bourbon Stakes while with Hall of Famer Bill Mott. The dark bay gelding wound up in Maryland, winning easily at 9 furlongs on the turf in 2022.

Ten Strike Racing and Riverdee joined forces to pluck him out of Oaklawn Park in January, 2023 and sent him to Jack Fisher.

The promising gelding posted two wins, two seconds and a fourth in five starts in his rookie season on the steeplechase circuit. Owned by Riverdee and Ten Strike Racing, the 5-year-old has his sights on handicaps and novice stakes in 2024.

Graham Watters and Rocket One return from a win at Shawan Downs.
