King Tsunami ran hard to finish third, came back lame with a grabbed quarter. Enough to explain his tame finish. Cool, over-achieving horse who pays his way. He’ll be back for the spring.

American War Hero ran well to finish fifth in the flat race. Wide and well back, he galloped all the way to the line, showed he can handle the distance, the hunt meet scene and will certainly improve for next year. Just a 3-year-old. He’ll benefit from a winter’s break.
Snap Decision upset in the Colonial Cup. Too Friendly stepping up. Noah And The Ark showing up yet again. Gallant horses. Great to see the iconic Grade 1 stakes back on the schedule.
Clancy Bloodstock graduate Brie’s Mission won the 3-year-old stakes. Far from polished but a winner and a stakes winner for my old friend Matt Groff. Congrats.
