Play the Music

52 degrees and raining at 35538. Pouring.

We need the rain. That’s what you say on days like these. Sure, it would have been more productive in October, but it can’t hurt in December. The hunting schedule forced to change. That’s about all. Maybe some Christmas caroling. Or at least shopping.

My list has a theme this year. Live music. I’m giving away live music. Tickets to local spots, local artists, local dreamers. Lucy Kaplansky at Manor Mill. James McMurtry in Elkton. Smither at Caffe Lena. Gorka…where the hell is Gorka playing and who’s closest? Wonder if I can book a gig with the Short Hill Mountain Boys. The Crooked Angels…Does the Horseshoe Curve sell gift certificates? Check Monks BBQ schedule. How about Wolf Trap…

That’s my strategy this year. Trying to keep from filling the attics of friends and family. Tickets to concerts. Open mic nights. Maybe an art show. A yoga session. Anything that can’t fit in the attic.

Name of the Day:

This one’s for Tom Law. De La Cruz in the third at Dundalk.
