Still basking from a big weekend. Wins with Zabeel Champion and Jhirsch. Seconds with De La Cruz, Wilma Flintshire and Include It. We were 4 lengths from winning five. Now that would have been something. Tuddenham Green returned to the races with a win at Loudoun Point-to-Point Sunday.

Now where to go next with any or all…

We know where we are going this weekend.

Rupert The Prince returns to the flat at Ripon. The son of Golden Horn won three times going long on the turf before we tried him over hurdles. That didn’t work for a lot of reasons, most of them we found later, so we’ve regrouped. Hopefully the 4-year-old will enjoy this excursion against six rivals in the class five handicap. Oisin Orr, who won a race for Godolphin today, takes the call for trainer Rebecca Menzies.

We entered five at Foxfield Saturday. Roja Redemption and Vintage Year clash in the 115 handicap, sponsored by Carter Machinery. Seasonal debuts by these two who combined to win five races and $142,650 last season. Graham Watters returns on the former and Jamie Bargary lands on the latter. Competitive race.

Rocket One and Cyber Ninja rumble in the Daniel Van Clief Novice Stakes, sponsored by Michelob Ultra. Rocket One makes his reappearance after a nearly two-year layoff. The son of Into Mischief won his flat prep at Green Spring. Stephen Mulqueen rides the 7-year-old. Cyber Ninja emerged as one of the top novices last season, winning twice and finishing second in the Foxbrook at Far Hills. Jamie Bargary rides the 6-year-old.

Veteran Welshman gets back to work in the Good Night Shirt. Wow, Sonny Via would like to have watched this. Or maybe he will be watching. The 8-year-old just missed winning the Grade 1 Lonesome Glory at Aqueduct last year. Jamie Bargary rides.

Watch Zabeel Champion win.

Watch Jhirsch win.
