Oh, I love race plans. Patrick Harty called today with a race plan for Imarajan. Fairyhouse. February. I love all race plans but especially when they come in January. Around here at Riverdee, January is slow. February, too. March, starting to awaken. April, full speed. May, look out. But, right now, anything is welcome to stave off the winter doldrums.
We’ll see. Plenty of work to do between now and then but something to get excited about as the temperatures dip into the teens this week and the single digits next week. An entry adding a needed layer, somewhere between fleece and down, North Face and Patagonia.
Road trip to Charleston, S.C. tomorrow for NSA meetings. Just a few days. A short respite.
