I work from the car, wondering why cars don’t have tray tables. I guess it’s a safety precaution but it sure would help working from the car on Sunday afternoons. I’ve got my laptop teetering on my left knee, the gear shift and a Yeti water bottle. I’ve written a lot of words from the car.
Miles’ first day of spring training, the Highland JV team stretching, sprinting, sliding, throwing, huffing and puffing. One kid just ran to the portable toilet and threw up. Yeah, that time of year.
Beautiful day here in Warrenton. Sun and sky. Feels like spring. Don’t tempt us, don’t tease us. There will be cold days but the worst is over. Surely.
A jockey texted me about a race he’s open in at Aiken. That definitely means spring is close. Love the thought. Love the initiative.
