Just as one weekend finishes, another weekend looms. That’s life. But never more than in horse racing, especially American steeplechasing.
You get a day to digest/process/analyze the decisions/performances/results from the weekend before filling out the entry forms for the next weekend. Sometimes, the runners still have poultice on their legs before you enter them again.
We entered Jimmy Dan, Rocket One and Tuddenham Green at Tryon. We’ll probably only run two. We entered Potus, Queens Empire and Include It at My Lady’s Manor. Hopefully all three go there.
We nominated Cool Jet, Awakened and Zabeel Champion for the Temple Gwathmey.
Looks like the races filled well at Tryon and the Manor and the Gwathmey enticed 11 nominations. A sign of strength…or a sign of limited opportunities? Maybe a bit of both.
