For better or worse, the Eclipse Award acceptance speech is pre-recorded, so at least that’s over. A script, a phone, 43 takes later, that stress has come and gone. Twenty-five seconds. That’s it. Sorry I didn’t mention you.
We added Sherminator to the Riverdee International brigade. The 4-year-old won his hurdle debut at Newbury last week.
Racing Post: SHERMINATOR, who had shown clear ability in bumpers, not least when narrowly beaten at Bangor, was a shade keen early, but found plenty from the last to make a reasonably taking winning hurdles debut. He should continue to progress as he gathers more experience.
He’ll gather more experience – and hopefully continue to progress – in the dark blue, light blue and red cap of Riverdee.
